SALES & RETURN POLICY

1. General Information

EV ChargeBox supplies electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment to customers across Australia. All sales are subject to the terms outlined in this Sales and Returns Policy. By purchasing from EV ChargeBox, you agree to the following conditions.

2. Product Installation Requirement

All EV chargers must be installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with Australian Standards, the AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules, and all relevant local laws and regulations. Failure to use a licensed electrician or to provide valid proof of licensed installation will void the product warranty. Proof of licensed installation must include the electrician’s name, licence number, and a dated tax invoice or certificate of electrical safety.

4. Returns and Refunds

Returns are only accepted for damaged or faulty goods. EV ChargeBox does not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect product selection, or installation errors. All return requests must include proof of purchase and proof of installation by a licensed electrician. Products must be returned at the purchaser’s shipping expense. Once received and inspected, if the item is confirmed to be damaged or faulty due to a manufacturing defect, EV ChargeBox will repair or replace the product at no cost to the customer.

5. Shipping and Delivery

EV ChargeBox ships products nationwide using reputable courier services. Delivery times may vary depending on location. Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details. EV ChargeBox is not liable for delays or losses due to incorrect addresses or courier handling once goods are dispatched.

3. Warranty

EV ChargeBox products include a 12-month limited warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and product faults under normal usage conditions. It does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, neglect, accidents, power surges, or environmental conditions such as water ingress or corrosion. To make a warranty claim, customers must provide proof of purchase, proof of installation by a licensed electrician, and return the faulty product to EV ChargeBox at their own shipping expense. Once received, the product will be inspected. If the fault is confirmed as a manufacturing defect, a replacement or repair will be provided at no cost.

6. Limitation of Liability

EV ChargeBox’s liability is limited to replacement or repair of defective products as outlined above. The company is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from product use, including installation costs or downtime.

7. Consumer Rights

This policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights or remedies you have under the ACL.
